SodaStream Review and Giveaway

I had the opportunity to review a SodaStream Fountain Machine. This unique little machine, available in 5 different colors is perfect for any soda drinker! My inital thought prior to reviewing this product was that it probably didnt compare to brand name sodas and was an inconvenience, WAS I WRONG! I absolutely love this little guy!
To start, the bottles are reusable. Anyone who is Green or environmentally friendly will love this! The reusable bottles are light weight yet heavy duty. I wont lie, I tried to flex the bottle inward.. it was impossible. Now onto the pictures and review!!!

 

Lets start with the unit its self. Its very tall but very thin and compact. Anyone notice the outlet not in use? Yep you guessed it, it requires no electricity or batteries. You could say environmentally friendly x2!

 

You just fill your reusable bottle with tap water and screw it on.

Next you push the button on top. This button releases spurts of carbonation. To meet the same amount of fizz in a canned soda I found that 3 pushes is ideal. Like more fizz, maybe less.. no matter how you prefer it SodaStream is all about you and what you like.

Next you just select your soda syrup, fill the cap, slowly add it to your carbonated water and shake lightly. 

I decided to first try Lemon Lime. I did a blind taste test with my sister, needless to say she couldn't tell the difference between SodaSteam brand and a national brand.

And that's it, SODA!

SodaStream comes in over 30 different flavors include caffeine free, diet and sparkling waters. They offer just about every type of soda flavor you can imagine and even have sparkling teas!!! One bottle of soda syrup is equivalent to 33 cans of soda!!! The units range from $79.00 to $199.00. This would make a GREAT gift for anyone! I'm thinking new college students, moms! Since electricity isnt required and the unit is light enough for easy transportation this would be a campers dream.

This company is all about you and the environment. Who can beat a product that's saving you money while helping the environment? Coca Cola sure cant, neither can Pepsi.
